Project Manager
Job Description
Everyone knows someone who seems to know it all (but not in a know-it-all way). The project manager at LEE Branding is the person who knows it all regarding his or her projects: the scope, the timing, the workflow, and what the creative team needs to succeed.
The person in this role understands the creative process and leads with calm and compassion. They leverage their experience to make sure that project briefs cover all the bases, that feedback is clear, and that we’ve allotted the right amount of time to do the job—whether that job is a brochure, a digital campaign, or a video shoot in a distant city.
The person in this role is confident and comfortable working directly with clients, alongside the account team. They will participate in—and sometimes lead—client meetings. They can hold their own with a client on a video or photo shoot, talk smartly about the creative work, and contribute to strategic discussions. (See what we mean by “know-it-all”?)
Qualifications
•  A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in an agency setting, with direct client contact
•  Experience planning video and photo shoots
•  Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, web)
•  Experience in B-to-B marketing ideal but not required
•  An interest in (and ideally, experience in) medical technology
Responsibilities
Plan
•  Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the account management team, including timing and resource allocation.
•  Contribute your voice (and sometimes your Keynote skills) to project fact-finding meetings and new business pitches.
Lead
•  Drive the project internally: establish the plan, gather the resources, anticipate needs and potential risks, monitor progress, and solve problems. You own this.
•  Work with creative director and project management team to assign staff/freelancers and align schedules.
•  Process and relay client feedback. Read and understand it, seek clarification where direction isn’t clear or information is missing, and interpret direction for the creative team.
•  Review creative deliverables to ensure that they meet project objectives and are error-free.
•  Step up as needed to be the external point person, able to explain to a client our approach to the task, questions or gaps that need to be addressed.
Produce
•  Work with the creative and account teams to estimate, plan and execute video and photo shoots.
•  Manage all logistical details. Assist with prop purchases, talent selection, and travel coordination.
•  Clearly articulate plans and responsibilities to vendors, clients, and the internal team.
•  Attend shoots in person when needed, to help with logistics and/or account support.
Document
•  Update client status documents and participate in status meetings.
•  Document learnings and next steps from client discussions.
•  Track expenses and progress to ensure project deliverables are on time and within budget.
